Bohra Houses is a listing platform that helps hosts within the Dawoodi Bohra community offer accommodation to travelers, and helps travelers find a place to stay. We do not own, manage, inspect, or verify any of the properties listed on this site, and we are not a party to any booking, agreement, or payment made between a host and a guest.
No verification of hosts, guests, or listings
Listings, photographs, descriptions, pricing, and availability are provided by hosts themselves. We do not carry out background checks, identity verification, or property inspections, and we make no guarantee about the accuracy, safety, legality, or condition of any listing, or about the identity or intentions of any host or guest.
The deal is between host and guest
Every booking, payment, and stay arranged through this site is a private arrangement directly between the host and the guest. Bohra Houses is not involved in collecting, holding, or processing payment for stays, and does not mediate, guarantee, or take responsibility for the outcome of any such arrangement.
Before agreeing to anything or making any payment, both hosts and guests are responsible for doing their own due diligence, including but not limited to:
- Verifying the other party’s identity and contact details independently
- Confirming the property, its condition, amenities, and location match what was described
- Agreeing on price, dates, house rules, and cancellation terms in writing before paying anything
- Using a payment method that leaves a clear record, and avoiding paying the full amount in advance to someone not yet met or verified
- Meeting or speaking directly with the other party before finalizing a booking, wherever possible
No liability for fraud, loss, or disputes
Bohra Houses is not responsible or liable for any fraud, misrepresentation, financial loss, property damage, personal injury, or dispute of any kind arising from a booking, stay, or interaction between a host and a guest, whether or not that interaction began on this website. This includes situations where a listing turns out to be inaccurate, unavailable, or misrepresented, or where either party fails to honour what was agreed.
If something goes wrong, the host and guest are expected to resolve it directly between themselves. We are happy to hear about serious concerns so we can consider removing a listing or user from the platform, but doing so does not make us responsible for resolving the underlying dispute or for any loss already caused.
